Operating since 1993, Two Sisters has a full service, fully licensed cafe and drive through coffee / food stand that operates seasonally from late May through late September. The cafe is open from 4PM - 9PM (last seating at 8:45PM) and the coffee stand is open from 7:30AM - 3:00PM. Both the cafe and the coffee stand are closed on Saturday.

We have had an up and down road since 2020 and the Covid closure when we lost an entire season. Initially, business came back strong, but we have seen our numbers going down in spite of growing visitation in Glacier National Park. This has mainly been due to our customer average going down, not fewer customers. In the past, we have generally operated near full capacity, but 2025 saw fewer early waits for tables, fewer full capacity nights, and a lower customer average in general. Our main challenges remain staffing (primarily due to the seasonal nature of our business) and the cost of product. With the higher cost of groceries, it is particularly challenging to offer more affordable menu options to our customers.

We have been able to offset some of these challenges by becoming the main retail outlet for our tribal bison program. We are able to offer premium bison at much more affordable prices to our customers because of the lower costs the tribe incurs through not having to ship or have more extensive commercial processing (we cut all of our own steaks from whole muscles). This has proved to be extremely popular. Tourists are very interested in local products, so we have tried to stock as much as we can. The main challenge we face with this is availability. Aside from general advertising to our specific area, the best way you could offer support would be to help smaller producers market to commercial outlets at wholesale prices. We have been able to source local honey, tallow skin products, jewelry, and herbal skin treatments and all have sold well. Having a larger choice of food products in addition to retail items would be enormously helpful and would extend long term benefits to the community at large.

We don't currently have any expansion plans as we have accomplished major expansions in the last 7 years including doubling our seating capacity in the cafe and creating a stand alone coffee / food stand. We're hoping for the return of our Canadian and International traffic, but that may be a few years before we can welcome them as warmly as we would like.
