Oki and welcome to the land that we, the Niitsitapi (the real people), have called home since time immemorial. This summer we invite you to embark on a journey through Blackfoot Territory, where you can immerse yourself in the culture and history of the Blackfoot Confederacy and People.
Siksikaitsitapi
The Siksikaitsitapi or Blackfoot Confederacy Tribal Council was established in order to unify the respective histories of the four Blackfoot Confederacy Tribes to ensure the continuity and thriving of all Blackfoot peoples as both the traditional and current Land Keepers of this area.
Operational since the year 2000, we serve to bring together, strengthen, expand, and establish sovereignty for all Blackfoot Peoples. Our goal is to ensure that our collective story is continued throughout time by way of advocacy, political action, and various programs that help empower our communities.
