Paahtómahksikimi Cultural Centre invites visitors to learn about the deep cultural significance of Waterton to the Blackfoot people. Paahtómahksikimi means “Inner Sacred Lake” in the Blackfoot language, reflecting the importance of this place and its history.
Through cultural and interpretive experiences, visitors can learn about Blackfoot stories, language, perspectives, and the longstanding relationship between the people and the land. The centre also features a craft store with authentic artisan work, offering visitors an opportunity to support local makers and take home a meaningful piece of their visit.
